Capitol Heights Baptist Church believes that "The Church" is not a building, it is a "Faith Family".We call ourselves "The Church That Does." and we use this as our core belief, meaning that we seek to reach the community around us, the city as a whole, and then spreading out all over the world. We strive to be Disciples of Christ Jesus, who follow the "Great Commission" by making disciples, who make disciples, who make disciples. We are a multiracial church, in a multiracial city.We care more for your Holiness than for your Happiness. We focus on growing deep, before growing wide.We are a Family made up from various Races, Statuses, Age Groups, Skill Sets, and Interest Groups. We believe that "Church Membership" is a commitment and attendance and involvement should be a priority.
GIVE TO SUPPORT THE MISSION GOD HAS GIVEN US.
We desire to see God transform Montgomery, Alabama with the gospel one life at a time. We believe God has called us to be on mission everyday. Therefore, we live to proclaim the never-changing truth of God to give hope to an ever-changing world. There are three ways to support our mission. 1. Pray for our faith-family and our surrounding ministry context, the Capitol Heights community.2. Join our faith-family as we continue to encounter Jesus as Lord, equip others to become disciples that make disciples, encourage others through serving, and engaging the Capitol Heights community through gospel proclamation.3. Give financially
in supporting the operation of our ministry in the Capitol Heights Community.
